Strategy: commercial planning expansion and asset management
The New Addington investment comprised of a freehold self-contained industrial unit with offices spanning across 64,000 square feet with parking. It was fully let to a well-known health care provider. The property benefitted from a corner plot location in the New Addington Industrial Estate fronting onto Vulcan Way, the main road through the estate. Planning permission was granted in 2018 for a knock down, restructure and expansion of the current site. In late 2019, a higher rental income on a new 10 year deal was agreed with the current lease holder. An agreed exit to the local authority was finalised in December 2019.
