Strategy: change of use from commercial to retail, expansion and construction
The Fleet investment comprises of a 4.4-acre industrial site that used to house the head office of Vertu, the infamous mobile phone company that was wound-up in 2017. It was over 51,000 square feet of freehold office and warehouse building. The strategy is to demolish the existing site and expand the footprint to house both retail and commercial units. This site is now under construction with the retail units sold prior to construction to a property investment fund. Construction is expected to complete in Q1 2022. Terms are to be agreed with the commercial outlets before exiting the site.
